Aalesund is a Norwegian fishing port where a local post was organised by H. S. Oyen between 1880 and 1884. A 3 øre stamp, printed in brown on various coloured papers in December 1880.
The design (below) featured a codfish in a horizontal oval with OYEN in the corners. In December 1884 stamps of 3, 5 and 7 øre were released.
