The Scandinavian Philatelic Society was founded in 1952, for collectors of the stamps, postcards, postal history etc. of greater Scandinavia i.e. Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Greenland, Faroe Islands, Danish West Indies, Åland and Spitzbergen.
