The Ballarat Post Office in Victoria, Australia, with the exception of the Melbourne General Post Office, was the largest Victorian building of its kind. It is the third building erected onto the current site since 1858. It is located on the corner of Sturt and Lydiard Streets (see Google Map). Classified by Heritage Victoria it was built during William Wardell’s tenure as Inspector-General and Chief Architect of the Public Works Department. See www.ballarat.edu.au for more information.
Since 2002 it has been part of the University of Ballarat Arts Academy.
