The 5 cent. lake depicts the Papal Arms, Tiara and Keys, the 10c. black and sepia, 12½c. black and green, 20c. black and orange, 25c. black and olive show the Wing of the Vatican Palace 30c. chocolate and black, 50c. chocolate and purple, 75c. chocolate and lake and 80c. chocolate and carmine rose depict the Vatican Gardens.
The Dome of St. Peter’s, His Holiness Pope Pius XI is seen on the 1 lira black and violet, 1.25 l. black and blue, 2 l. black and brown, 2.75 l. black and purple and St. Peter’s Basilica is featured on the 5 l. green and sepia, 10 l. deep green and blue and 20l. green and black.
