Romantic stamps from Chunghwa Post

To meet the needs of the newlyweds for thematically fitting stamps when mailing their wedding invitations, Chunghwa Post has prepared for issuing a set of four stamps featuring both Chinese- and western-style wedding themes. According to info got by StampNews.com these stamps will be released on the 21st of November.

The stamps feature exquisite illustrations to portray enchanted weddings, and good wishes for the newlyweds. The designs follow:

2. Together Forever (NT$3.5): A beautiful wedding is being witnessed by the serenading cherubic angels. The newlyweds press their hands together, symbolizing that “till death do we part.”

3. Love for All Seasons (NT$5): Donning traditional wedding attires and headdresses, the couple hang on to both ends of a red silk streamer and the bow, exchanging vows of everlasting love to one another.

4. A Match Made in Heaven (NT$5): The groom and the bride enjoy a romantic ride on the horse-drawn carriage, journeying toward a beautiful future together.

A stamp folio, consisting of 12 stamps with one set each from the 2012 and the 2013 issues of “Congratulations Postage Stamps” and one set of “Felicitations Postage Stamps”, will be released along with the stamps. Using the format of double panel printed in red and gold on its covers, the folio demonstrates romantic and charming atmosphere.
