This set of four stamps lithographed by Enschedé, was issued in january 1961 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the establishment of a British post office in the island.
The stamps in denominations of 10, 20 and 35c., and 1r., produced the lawrence portrait of King George III and the Annigoni portrait of Queen Elizabeth and the form of crown used in 1811 and 1961.
