This block is a continuation of the series first issued in 2013 to mark the opening of the major sensory exhibition allowing visitors to experience an encounter with sharks. The exhibition runs until 2015. The objective is to overcome prejudices and help people to discover the true nature of these masters of the seas. Essential to the health of ecosystems, these large predators now find themselves under threat. The three stamps in the block depict three different species: the blacktip reef shark, the hammerhead shark, and the grey reef shark.
